Finca Veguill is at 475 meters in elevation oriented to the North. Finca Valseca is at 525 meters in elevation also oriented to the North. Both Finca Veguilla and Valseca are trellised vineyards planted cordon system.
Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and crushed and macerated for 3-4 days before fermentation begins naturally with the wild yeast on the skins. Fermentation then continues for 10-12 days more. The wine is aged in stainless steel with racking to another tank at 6 months. No oak is used The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered and is not cold stabilized.
Tasting Notes: This is a fruit driven Rioja Joven with marked notes of licorice, blackberries and raspberries. In the mouth it is very pleasant, with tangy notes that accentuate its personality.
