The Fourrier family has a series of small holdings within Chambolle-Musigny. The village parcel covers 0.39 hectare, and the vines were planted in 1936. Fourrier’s style marries particularly well to the finesse that is so critical to the proper expression of the Chambolle terroir.

The 2011 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes wraps around the palate with layers of silky, perfumed red fruit. There is a level of textural sweetness and pure finesse that distinguishes the Chambolle. A gorgeous village-level Burgundy, the Chambolle is a great introduction to the wines of Domaine Fourrier.
