Vintage Notes: The 2012 vintage was phenomenal for Cabernet Sauvignon throughout California. A mild summer gave way to a warm, long and dry September and October. There was no inclement weather as in 2011, and the grapes were able to reach full and balanced maturity.

Tasting Notes: Dark currant, espresso, black plum and pencil lead show up in the glass. A choice parcel of Malbec from near Oakville really adds new dimension to the wine. It remains an incredibly versatile Cabernet that will work with anything from steak to tuna with ease.
