Location Notes: Stephen Vincent's Lake County Sauvignon Blanc is produced with grapes grown near Lake Mendocino in Lake County. The abundant sun and cooling effect of the lower lake always creates great Sauvignon Blanc.
Winemaking Notes: This Sauvignon Blanc is fermented and blended in stainless steel from start to finish to preserve the crisp citrus and tangy acidity that makes this wine special. 35 years of experience have taught Bob Goyette the importance of trial blends before bottling. Before blends are made, Bob pursues the best possible wine profile to bring together a wine that is superior to its parts. The final bottle is blended for body, flavor, and mouthfeel.
Tasting Notes: Intense flavors characteristic of the best Sauvignon Blancs. Fruit with good, crisp acidity followed by tropical fruit. Ripe fig, honey and crisp melon notes precede a layer of lemon and herb.
