About the Wine: The ancestors of the Raventós family used to plant rose beds to prevent outbreaks of vine blight. La Rosa de Raventós i Blanc is a tribute to this noble practice, which survived through 19 generations of wine growers on their estate. A rosé with a strong Mediterranean character, good for all occasions.
Vineyard Notes: Pinot Noir from the two highest plots on Serral hill. Calcareous soils formed in the Miocene with a clayey-sandy texture and a high volume of round pebbles, shallow and with a low organic material content.
Vintage Notes: 2013 will be remembered as a demanding vintage, cool and with a great potential for aging.
