Vineyard Information: Part of the vineyard was planted recently, and part was planted over 20 years ago at a density between 3,000 and 6,000 per hectare. The vines are trained in a spurred cordon system. 

Winemaking Notes: Soft press and destemming. Fermented without skin-contact maceration and matured exclusively in stainless steel tanks. Filtration and brief bottle aging before release. 

Tasting Notes: Bright ruby red. Flowery aromas and flavors of violet and red pulp fruit with hints of aromatic herbs.

"The 'Tenentino' from vineyards in the modern cordon spur system is aged in steel tanks only and has a light peppery note to accompany the dried cherry and dried flower aromas. Medium-bodied, this has an earthy, herbal finish with moderate tannins and good acidity."
