Diamond Selection Tasting Notes: Deep purple color, nearly opaque. Black olive, black cherry, cedar and vanilla aromas flow from the glass. Opulent flavors of cassis, black olive and plum are unveiled as the wine opens in the glass. Focused and tightly wound with structured tannins. Finishes with layers of black cherry and vanilla on the back palate. Our favorite Joy of Cooking® pairing for this wine includes prime rib with creamed spinach, grilled marinated lamb chops with risi bisi, and buttermilk layer cake with bittersweet chocolate frosting and coconut.

Winemaker Notes: "This Cabernet Sauvignon comes from our Stice Lane Vineyard in St. Helena. These Cabernet Sauvignon vines flourish in the deep, gravel soils in the former Napa River bed. This exceptional site produces varietal distinct Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. We select the best parcels from this vineyard to create our Diamond Selection wine."
