This Old World red blend of Old Vine Carignane, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Grenache, and Zinfandel comes from the Testa Vineyard and Grist Vineyard in the North Coast. The grapes were picked by hand, destemmed without crushing, and cold soaked for 5-10 days. Each lot was fermented separately in small open-top tanks. Punchdown was done by hand. Wine was aged in French oak barrels (25% new) and bottled without fining or filtering.

Farmstead Red Tasting Notes: Complex aromas of boysenberry and earth, it is rich and velvety on the palate, and finishes with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
