Bodegas Eidosela Albariño Tasting Notes: The cooler, higher elevation Condado do Tea subregion gives rise to a fresh, precise expression of
Albariño. Clean and tangy with notes of citrus and pit fruits, Eidosela is a light and zippy example of
the uniqueness of this small microclimate. The juicy flavors are underlined by a saline minerality,
giving the wine surprising depth and complexity.
About Bodegas Eidosela: Typical
Rías Baixas
parcels are very small (the average is less than ½ ha), owned and tended by
family growers who then work in cooperation with larger facilities. Bodegas Eidosela is one such
organization, with the combined efforts of 61 growers, encompassing 45 hectares.
Vines are
trimmed in pergolas at approximately 2
meters high to avoid the humidity caused by the high
rainfall, and to help manage the canopy by allowing as much sunlight as possible.

Bodegas Eidosela 2012 Albarino, Rias Baixas DO
Rating: 90
Pale yellow. High-pitched aromas of lemon zest, white flowers and minerals. Dry, incisive and pure, offering dusty citrus fruit flavors along with a deeper pear nuance. Closes smooth and long, with lingering floral character and strong citrus bite.
