This Champagne Rosé is made with the three grape varieties of the Champagne region. An additional 10% of red wine matured in barrels is added. Champagne Laherte Freres selects only the best of their old Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for this rosé.

Grape Sources: Pinot Meunier is sourced from the terroirs of Chavot, Mancy, Boursault, Vaudancourt and Le Breuil; many different soils with a dominant of silt, marl and clay. Pinot Noir is sourced from old vines of Chavot. Soil fairly deep with an important presence of clay, flint and schist. Chardonnay is sourced from the terroirs of Chavot and Vaudancourt. Soils with fine clay and a blend of limestone and alluvial deposits. Of the red wine added, 40% are reserve wines of past years kept in barrels.

Vinification Notes: Grapes are picked up by hand when fully ripen, and traditionally pressed. Fermenation occurs in vats, foudres and barrels. Partial malolcatic fermenation occurs. Wine is aged 6 months with light filtration before bottling. Disgorgment is done by hand and dosage is 7-9g/l.

91pts by Tyson Stelzer
"A full pomegranate crimson hue introduces a rosé filled with defined redcurrant and pomegranate fruit and nutmeg spice that continue through the palate and linger long, with notes of savory complexity."

90+pts by John Gilman

"Offers up a fine bouquet of orange zest, sweet cranberries, lovely minerality… On the palate the wine is medium-full, crisp and vibrant, with lovely focus."

Peter Liem
"It's delicately fragrant, showing soft, forward notes of raspberry and orange zest, and while it's voluptuously fruity on the palate, it's supported by bright acidity, helping it to maintain a fresh, lively feel despite its ripeness."
