Vineyard Information: The grapes from this wine come from three well known Russian River Valley vineyards: Clone 4 from Vino Farms’ Airport Vineyard; Clone 17 from Sara Lee Kundee’s Catie’s Corner; and the Wente Clone from Benovia Vineyards.
Winemaking Notes: The wine was fermented and aged in French oak (6% New, 8% 1-Year) for nine months. About 40% of the wine completed malolactic fermentation. Tasting Notes: This 2012 Taft Street Russian River Valley Chardonnay has a delightfully creamy combination of soft lime and citrus flavors. The result is a bright, fruit-forward wine with hints of toasted almond in the very long finish.
