Winemaking Notes: The native Basque grape Hondarribi Beltza is sourced from two vineyards on the Gipuzkoa coast that are 20 to 25 years old. The vines are been planted on gentle rounded hills located on the sunniest, windiest slopes with well-drained land, needing no irrigation. Wine is filtered before bottling.
Tasting Notes: This wine is young, naturally sparkling, with a medium-pink hue. It boasts high acidity and wild strawberry, raspberry, and cherry aromas. It is clean, bright, and expressive.

About the Estate: The owners of Txakoli Zudugarai (Errasti´s brothers, Vicente, JºMari and Patxi) have a long-standing experience in growing grapes and producing Txakoli, a wine unique to the Basque Country, which stretches back many years before the Getariako Txakolina DO was first created in 1989. However, the creation of the DO led to the construction of this estate. The Errasti family has been involved in growing grapes for over 50 years.
