Harvest Notes: Manual harvest in 20kg crates with each grape variety picked at optimal ripeness and balance (Loureiro beginning of October, Arinto late October and Azal first two weeks of November). Vinification: Grapes are destemmed and gently pressed. The juice settles for 48 hours at 10 degrees Celsius before fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was cold fermented and filtered prior to bottling. Tasting Notes: Bright and complex citrus aromas of lime and pink grapefruit complimented by refreshing mineral notes. On the palate are flavors of ripe yellow and pink grapefruit with a touch of yellow grapefruit balanced by a slight effervescence. The Azal adds citrus with rustic mineral characteristics while Arinto contributes citrus notes and acidity along with volume and structure for aging. Loureiro brings floral aromatics to round out the wine.
