Viticulture: Own rootstock, vineyard on an East-West orientation, 4.4LB yield per plant, 3954 plants per hectare, drip irrigation, green harvesting

Winemaking Notes: Destemmed, cold soaked for five hours, 14 day fermentation, no pumpovers, no malolactic fermentation, aged 12 months in barrel, bentonite fining, cross flow filtration.

Tasting Notes: As if tossed by a storm at sea, ripe tropical fruit and grapefruit blend with mineral notes and luscious vanilla from its elegant oak treatment, for a wine with great aromatic complexity. Ideal with all types of shellfish and fatty fish.

Valley Information: Leyda Valley is a sub-region of the San Antonio Valley located between the Coastal Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean. Its gentle coastal hills are characterized by poor soils and very dry climate. The low day-night temperatures differential is due to the maritime influence. This place is ideal for varieties like Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc.
