Superb, with a sweetish attack, mineral, balanced, sweet and almost salty with delicate acidity. Finishes drier with some bitterness. Fat, balanced wine. Dry with good concentration. Drink with well flavored fish such as pike-perch. “Shy but a long distance runner”.

This terroir basks in a warm, dry semi-continental climate which favors the perfect ripening of grapes. The Colmar region has the region's lowest rainfall, 500 mm of rain a year.
