The Muscat grape is believed to be the oldest extant vinifera grape. At the very least, its haunting floral bouquet does seem to trigger some sort of resonance in the oldest parts of our brains. This Moscato underwent fermentation in the bottle (metodo tradizionale) and was bottled with minimal dosage (6g/l). The result is an exceptional food wine, with the faintest hint of refreshing bitterness.
