Winemaking Notes: A red wine with an alluring complexity of aromas. Fermentation occurs in wooden vats. It is aged in
barriques made from French oak for about two years and then in the
bottle for a further six months.
Tasting Notes: Ruby red with garnet red highlights from the aging process. Fruity hints of cassis and woodland fruits harmonize beautifully with spicy notes of black pepper and balsamic vanilla. With
a refined elegance that comes from the perfect balance between its
tannin content, acidity and body. The flavour is persistent and rewards
the palate with all the aromas found in the bouquet. The ideal partner for red meat, especially if grilled or rare, as well as game. It is also excellent with hard cheeses.
