Vinification: The juice is extracted with infinite care in our airbag press. The slow, gentle pressing avoids crushing the stalks and pips. The must starts fermenting of its own accord thanks to the natural yeast present in the juice, and the fermentation generally lasts from 4-10 weeks. It is carried out in stainless steel vats equipped with temperature control, a medium which maximized the expression of this variety's aromas.

Tasting Notes: Pale yellow and bright. Floral on the nose with geranium flower and spice. First ample, fat on the palate then fresh in the final. Very typical Gewürztraminer, off-dry style, citrus, grapefruit. Beautiful balance, fine and exotic. This wine is an excellent aperitif with tapas. Try also with slightly spicy dishes and exotic flavors.

"Light on its feet and elegant, this bright white offers base notes of smoke and mineral with flavors of creamed melon, star fruit, lemon preserves and beeswax. Drink now through 2020."

Pale yellow. Subtle aromas of spicy mango, tangerine, flowers and spearmint. Juicy, pure and precise, with noteworthy freshness to its rose petal and ripe citrus flavors. Not yet complex but laid-back and very nicely balanced on the fresh, long finish. This is a well-above-average entry-level Gewurztraminer because the Blancks declassified a lot of their grand cru juice in 2010 (as did many other Alsace estates) into their base wines, as there was such limited production of these and their clients were clamoring for this less-expensive Gewurztraminer especially.

A subtle thread of minerality runs through this well-meshed white, accenting notes of green melon, grapefruit zest, light spice and a hint of lychee. Lightly mouthwatering finish.
