Why is a wine called Agricultura?
Agricultura satisfies our most basic need but we seldom have the chance to reflect on where our food is grown and by whom: yet nothing is more essential to us than nourishment. Agricultura pays tribute to that unknown hero who cares for each vine: planting, pruning, waiting, and finally harvesting and vinifying in the fall.

Why the ANT?
The classic story of working ant and the indulging grasshopper that everyone knows, or at least we think everyone knows! The ant represents the hardworking farmer at the very base of all agricultural labor.

What's in the bottle?
The work of the farmers of Marmelar, a small village in the south western Alentejo, close to the Spanish border.
